Every screen of an OKX app withdrawal explained: address, network, confirmations and the last chance to stop
A withdrawal from the OKX app passes through several screens before funds leave. Learn what to check on each one, from address and network to security verification, and how to use the address book to make future withdrawals safer.
OKX | the reader's region | the reader's funding currency | application origin and signature checks
Withdrawing from the OKX app is designed to be quick, and that speed can work against you. The flow passes through several screens: choosing the asset, entering the address, selecting the network, entering the amount, reviewing the summary and passing security verification. Each screen is a chance to catch a mistake, and once the transaction is broadcast it usually cannot be reversed. This guide walks through each screen of a mobile withdrawal, explains what to check before moving on, and shows how the address book and allowlist turn future withdrawals into a safer routine.
Asset, address and network
After choosing the asset, paste the destination address or select it from your address book. Compare the first and last several characters with the address shown in the receiving wallet or platform, because clipboard malware can replace copied addresses. Then select the network. It must match the network the receiving side supports for that asset; the app may suggest one, but the decision is yours. If the destination requires a memo or tag, enter it in its own field.
Amount and the summary screen
Enter the amount and look at the fee and the amount that will actually arrive, both shown by the app. Remember that the minimum withdrawal and fee can differ by network. On the summary screen, read every line again: asset, network, address, memo and amount. This is the last screen before verification and the best moment to stop if anything looks unfamiliar. For a new destination, consider withdrawing a small amount first.
Security verification and after confirming
OKX asks for verification such as an authenticator code, a passkey or an email code. Never share these codes with anyone, including people claiming to be support. After confirming, the withdrawal appears in your history with a status. The help center explains how statuses work and whether a withdrawal can still be cancelled while it is pending. Once it is broadcast, the transaction ID lets you follow it on a block explorer.
Using the address book and allowlist
After a successful withdrawal to a new destination, save the address in the address book with a label that names the wallet and network. Turning on the allowlist means withdrawals can only go to saved addresses, adding protection if someone gains access to your account. Review the address book from time to time and remove destinations you no longer use.
